The Role of Faith-based Organizations

LifeCenter works closely with religious leaders to promote donation, share accepted religious views on donations, and offer spiritual support to people touched by donations. Faith and Hope Month
Each November faith-based organizations join in celebrating Faith and Hope Month through compassionate messaging offering hope and life through organ and tissue donation. Faith and Hope Month is dedicated to telling the stories of those who have used their faith to inspire them to become organ and tissue donors or to support them after the loss of a loved one. Help us spread the message of hope in your faith-based community.
Ways Your Organization Can Participate
Participate in National Donor Sabbath Day,
observed two weekends before Thanksgiving weekend each November.
National Donor Sabbath is when thousands of congregations across the country come together with donor families, transplant recipients, and donation and transplantation professionals to talk about the need for the life-saving and healing gifts passed to others through transplantation; while also encouraging people to register to become organ and tissue donors.
